In Virginia, expunging a reckless driving conviction is generally not allowed. Unlike some states, Virginia does not permit the expungement of criminal convictions, including reckless driving, unless the charge was dismissed or the individual was acquitted. However, if the reckless driving charge was reduced to a lesser offense, such as improper driving, it may be possible to have the record cleared under certain circumstances.
