The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops (

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.
He reviews and tests cleaning equipment, focusing on robot vacuums and mopping combos. These multitaskers are an excellent option for those who wish to take mopping off their to-do list. Some have great navigation and obstacles avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads themselves for a hands-free cleaning.
The Eufy S1 Pro
This is the model to choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than other models and makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.
It is very fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up sand, dirt, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the dual side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger pieces of debris, such as books and toys that have been damaged.
Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't make the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's simple to install and is effective however, this is something that you'll have to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.
The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and effectively. This results in a thorough, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.
The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. They can reach corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach spots. They also have a flexible side brush that can extend to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and dry to remove odors and prevent buildup.
App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo lets you adjust the strength of suction, and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more random patterns. You can also alter the number of passes it should make, which will affect how quickly the device can move around your home. You can also deactivate the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rug.
The device is costly, but it comes with a lot of smart features. It's important to note that it incurs periodic expenses in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For example, a brushroll needs to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter is recommended to be cleaned after 150 hrs, and the mop pads should be changed every one to three months.
This robot vacuum mop has a high Amazon rating and comes with many physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a 'Home' button to send it home after cleaning. It also has a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the dustbin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dries its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be a good choice for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation and long battery life allow you to keep a clean home with little effort.
The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 mop and vacuum. It is capable of vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two parts that include a dry bin as well as a water tank that can be snapped in and out and a mopping unit that has a microfiber pad. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.
Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mopping.
We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up pet hair. It was able to capture the majority of hair our cats shed and even was able to get into the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots struggled. The noise levels were low and there were nice jingles to signal that it was in the process of working towards its goal.
Its main drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to switch out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This could be an issue if your house has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a device that can mop and vacuum.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, however it also has distinctive features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its massive dock that serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning as well as a 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.
The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to manually start cleaning or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on the child lock that is a great touch for parents worried about children playing with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognizing objects.
Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While it was not common, it was a frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert on its app.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space that is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
