Enalapril, which is found in the enapril 2.5mg, is a member of the class of medications known as Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) Inhibitors. It is used to treat heart failure and hypertension (high blood pressure). Additionally, it controls the onset of heart failure symptoms, such as breathing difficulties, foot and ankle swelling, or excessive fatigue even after light exercise.
If you have any liver, kidney, or cardiac issues (apart from hypertension and heart failure), let your doctor know before using enapril 2.5mg. Additionally, you need to let your doctor know if you have diabetes, are following a low-salt diet, or are extremely dehydrated after a recent illness (such diarrhea or vomiting).
