Until recently, Playa Mujeres had an extensive array of hotels, many of which could be counted on one hand. Situated to the north of Cancún's Hotel Zone, this location was particularly renowned for its exquisite white sand and its relative isolation from the more lively parts of the city. Although the landscape has undeniably undergone transformation with the emergence of several hotels, the beach's authenticity and aesthetic appeal persist. Yet, its reputation is evolving now, with an increasing number of avant-garde boutique hotels, and even a recently opened outdoor food court. No discussion about Tulum would be complete without acknowledging Playa Paraiso, which is widely regarded as the most exquisite beach in the region and among the finest beaches in Mexico. Situated to the south of the renowned ruins, this expansive area of sandy terrain is considered one of the most excellent in Tulum for experiencing complete cool. Day trippers from the surrounding region come here just to admire its ideal color scheme of white, turquoise, and green. It is also a hub of activities for Tulum, catering to those interested in snorkeling, scuba diving, relaxing at a beach bar, or basking in the sun.
